Privacy & your data

The short version

Feintwork apps run entirely on your device. Your training data — sessions, rounds, combos, notes, weigh-ins — never leaves it and is never sent to us. There's no account, no login, and no central pile of athlete data for anyone to breach. (The only thing we ever store is the email you give us to hear when an app ships — see below.)

What we collect

From the apps themselves: nothing. Feintwork apps are local-first. Everything you enter is stored in your own browser (via IndexedDB, with localStorage as a fallback) on the device you're using. It is not transmitted to Feintwork, and there is no account to create and no login.

Where your data lives

On your device, under your control. Because it's local:

The apps work offline — useful in a gym with bad Wi-Fi or on the mats with your phone in airplane mode.
You can export a full JSON backup at any time from Settings, and import it on another device.
Clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling the app, deletes your data. Keep a backup first.
Your data is tied to the device and browser you use it in. We don't sync it for you, so we never hold a copy.

Payments

When paid upgrades ship, purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Your card details go to Lemon Squeezy — never to us — and they handle payment processing, receipts, and sales tax/VAT. We receive only what we need to recognize your license (such as a license key and the email you bought with). Lemon Squeezy's handling of your payment information is covered by their privacy policy.

Not medical or coaching advice

Feintwork apps — including any weight-management, fight-camp, or training-load features — are tools for logging and planning, not a source of medical, nutritional, or professional coaching advice. Combat sports and weight management carry real risk. Always work with a qualified coach, and consult a doctor or registered dietitian before changing your diet, cutting weight, or starting a training program. You are responsible for your own health and safety; Feintwork is not.

This website

The marketing site you're reading may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits (no personal profiles, no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies). Fonts are served from this site itself, so no third party sees your IP address when a page loads. If you email us, we'll have whatever you put in that email.

The early-access list

If you submit your email to hear when an app ships, we store it — along with basic request metadata your browser sends (approximate country, user agent, and referring page) — in a Cloudflare key-value store so we can email you. We may also receive an instant notification of the signup. We use it only to contact you about Feintwork, we never sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time at [email protected].

What we never do

Sell or share your data — we don't have it to sell.
Run third-party advertising or tracking pixels in the app.
Require an account or hold your training data on our servers.

Your control

Because your data lives on your device, you control it directly: export it, move it, or delete it whenever you want, without asking us. If you have a question about any of this, or want help, get in touch.

Changes to this policy

If a Feintwork app ever adds a feature that changes how data is handled — for example optional cloud sync — we'll update this page and note the date above before that feature ships. The local-first default isn't going away; anything that leaves your device will be opt-in.
